Formerly known as Hunan Hengyang Bus Factory, established in 1950, it is a key production enterprise in Hunan Province. In August 2019, it was merged into China Hengtian Group and became the southern headquarters base of Hengtian New Energy Vehicles. The new base was completed and put into operation in May 2020, covering an area of 339.9 acres. It has qualifications for passenger car modification and special vehicles, and has a general production line for stamping, welding, and coating. The annual production capacity of the entire vehicle is 5000 units.
(hereinafter referred to as Intelligent Drive Power) focuses on the development, production, and sales of power systems for new energy commercial vehicles, heavy mining trucks, and construction machinery vehicles. It is one of the few enterprises in China specializing in the production of high-speed flat wire commercial vehicle motors; Covering an area of 20000 square meters, it was put into construction in May 2021; Build an annual production capacity of 50000 sets of power drive systems.
Nanjing Rongpu Yida Power Technology Co., Ltd. is a technology innovation company jointly established by Nanjing Hengtian Lingrui Automobile Co., Ltd. and South Korean VCtech, focusing on the research and development, production, and sales of new energy commercial vehicle drive systems. The electric drive system developed and produced by the company covers 2.5-4.5T light logistics vehicles, 18-49T medium and heavy trucks, 50-150T mining machinery, 6-12 meter buses, various airport shuttle buses, loaders, excavators, agricultural machinery, high-speed motorcycles and other electrified platforms.
Covering an area of 68,666㎡, the project is equipped with an electrified chassis workshop and a core components production workshop, with an annual production capacity of 100,000 sets of motor and ECUs and 5,000 sets of electrified chassis.
It is a large-scale vehicle manufacturing base with complete vehicle production qualifications for a full range of models, covering an area of more than 333,333㎡and with an annual production capacity of 100,000 vehicles. The base is equipped with five main process workshops for Stamping, Welding, Painting, Assembly and Frame Manufacturing, together with necessary supporting production facilities.
The total investment in the project is approximately 2.5 billion yuan. Phase I will focus on the construction of an electrified chassis project, which is expected to achieve an annual output value of no less than 600 million yuan upon completion and production. Phase II will involve the construction of a commercial vehicle and passenger vehicle manufacturing base, with an estimated annual output value of no less than 3 billion yuan after the project is put into operation.
